Alexandra (Alexa) S. Aringer is a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student in the ORCHIDS Lab at the University of Oregon, advised by Dr. Sheila E. Crowell. She is a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellow (2025–2028), currently interested trauma, resilience, and biopsychosocial development. Before graduate school, Alexa worked as a Research Coordinator and Lab Manager at the Berger Institute (Claremont McKenna College) and as a Research Coordinator for the Adversity and Adaptation Lab at UC Riverside. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from UC Riverside in 2020 with Phi Beta Kappa honors. Outside the lab, she enjoys spending time with her partner and pets, binge-watching Netflix, reading, and making really terrible candles.
